We are the local chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), the nation’s largest organization for people with hearing loss. HLAA exists to open the world of communication for people with hearing loss through information, education, advocacy, and support.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville Public Library, West Regional, located at 1425 Chaffee Road S., Jacksonville, FL 32221. Directions: I-10 Exit 351 (Whitehouse/Cecil Field) (No meetings July, August, and December)
Our meetings are hearing accessible. CART is Communication Access Realtime Translation making meetings accessible for deaf and hard of hearing people by means of captions shown on a projector screen.
